KUANTAN - More than 500 journalist from the print and electronic media will converge in Pahang to cover the 15th SUKMA hosted by Pahang from July 7 until 16.
SUKMA Promotion, Publicity and Broadcast Committee chairman, Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin said the presence of a large number of media personnel would give impact to the state and the games in particular which features 15 contigents including Brunei, competing in 24 sport.
"The presence of the media will provide a comprehensive coverage of the action in the Sukan Malaysia and promote the state as a preferred tourist destination and investment hub," he told repoeters after visiting Pahang SUKMA media secretariat building at the Darul Makmur Stadium here.
